More Florida Shots...

Okay, I am a fan of "LOST" so this was...eerie.

Proof that "The Momma's" were there on vacation too! Checking out the other side of the camera.

Auntie doing her "morning thing" with the dynamic duo. This usually consisted of putting eye shadow AKA "eye flash"on Marie, charming Ty with a Smoothie and some PBS and books time!

Marie figuring out the maracha's from Fiesta Night. Those marachas got a LOT of mileage on the drive home.

What are buckets for??? Climbing in and putting on your head, duh.

Some More Ty + Cousin + Beach Pix

Ty's 2 Loves: the Beach and Putting things on his head. It's a boy thing.

Ty "attacking" Sydney; they had a blast together.

Grampa enjoying beach time and a leftover rib.

Ty marching off to the water with his cousins...aaaahhhhh...time to relax for Momma!

More Cousin Time with Lukey!

I promise; the Jim, Marie and I were there too. Really! Just not the theme this time.

Some of you may be interested to see our new link. My bestest friend, Jacqui and her sweet hubby John and baby boy Jack have moved from downtown Chicago to the South. The new link is about their life in Arkansas. Enjoy!

Pinata

Thursday Night was "Mexican Fiesta Night" and the highlight for the kids was definitely the pinata. Since it was a party night, Marie had to wear her hot pink leotard, of course. Here she is taking her swipe at the pinata. All kids had several tries, starting with the youngest.

Success!!!

Ty's loot; Momma instructed him to ignore the gum and just go for the chocolate.

Marie in hot-pink pursuit...

And who was it that finally took down the pinata??? Jim, the Mighty Pinata Slayer!

Cousin Time

Kite Flying with Cousins on N Reddington Beach

Cousins playing with the "Insta-Grow Animals." Cheap thrill but kept them happy

Bubble blowing on the balcony

Oldest and Youngest Blowing bubs...Ty working so hard he is drooling.

Oh, we had a great time during our Spring Break! Ty and Marie enjoyed so many different things. Playing with their cousins had to be right there with the best! Ty loved the Big Girls while Marie and her buddy Luke were partners in crime. The kids spent literally hours in the pool, mostly with Jim! Ty loved watching the big kids and trying to do whatever they did - with one exception. He was not going in the swimming pool. He would sit on the edge, splash it and watch but no thank you, Momma, he did not want to go in the pool. The ocean, now that was different. His first encounter was, well, a splash. He waded in and was shuffling around the edge. I turned around and asked my Dad a question and turned back to see him PLOP face in. He reached down to touch the bottom and he doesn't have that center of gravity thing figured out yet so in he went. Thus ended Ty's first encounter with the ocean but it really didn't stop him. He ventured out into the water daily. More to come...too much to recall all in one post!
