Growing Up

Now THAT'S a positive note to send home!!!

We get lots of communication from Ty's day care. Friday, when Marie and I picked him up, we stayed for almost an hour. They had just started playing a circle game and both kiddos wanted to play. Then, the children performed their "Soup Opera." It is a book/CD telling the story of a restaurant patron who doesn't eat the soup he ordered. The kiddos have special hats and props and they sing the song as the opera music plays. It is very entertaining! The first time Ty did this, they snapped a picture of him so we could get a glimpse of his day. Very kind. We very much appreciate all the communication and good work these ladies do.

Jim retains his Saint status. This time, he got up at 0h-dark-hundred to go wait for his ticket to get into the ski swap. He brought a chair and a little heater. Evidently, this attracted others who were not as prepared for the long wait this cold November morning. He got a ticket for 9:30 and at that time there were exactly 3 pairs of skis left that fit Marie. Girl lucked out with new skis and new boots. She is pretty excited!
